Stephanie Amedome

Coordinator Project Nima, Ghana

My name is Stephanie Amedome Bolassi, and I am currently a Level 300 student at the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC-IJ), pursuing my education with the goal of becoming an investigative journalist.
I joined Project Nima when I was just 9 years old. At that young age, I became part of an organisation that has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. Through Project Nima, I had the opportunity to learn, grow, build my confidence, and understand the importance of giving back to my community.
I am still with Project Nima because it has become more than just an organisation to me ,it has become a part of my life. I have grown alongside the organisation, and I have witnessed the impact it has on children and young people. Being able to contribute to that same work that once helped shape me is something I deeply value.
Most importantly, Project Nima has supported me throughout my university journey. They have stood by me and helped see me through school, and I am truly grateful for their support, encouragement, and belief in me.

My journey with Project Nima, from joining at the age of 9 to becoming a university student today, is a reminder of how much impact an organisation can have on a young person’s life. I am proud to still be part of the journey and hopeful about the lives we can continue to touch together.
