Project Nima Ambassador, Ghana
My name is Patience Afi Anani, and I am part of Project Nima.
I joined Project Nima in 2012 when I was still very young. Growing up with the organisation has been a very important part of my life. Over the years, I have learned so many things, met amazing people, and had the chance to be part of activities that help children and young people.
I joined Project Nima because I wanted to be part of something that makes a difference in people’s lives. The organisation focuses on education, child protection, and supporting people in vulnerable communities, and I am happy to be part of that work.
I am still with Project Nima because it has become more than just an organisation to me. It feels like a place where I have grown, learned, and discovered more about myself. Being part of the team has also taught me the importance of teamwork, responsibility, respect, and helping others.
As part of the Rule of Form/Admin team, I help with the administrative side of the organisation and support our activities in different ways. Even though some of the work may happen behind the scenes, I know that every little effort matters.
Looking back to when I first joined in 2012, I am grateful for how far I have come. Project Nima has been part of my growth for many years, and I am happy that I can now give back and contribute to the same organisation that has been part of my journey.
My journey with Project Nima has taught me that when we come together to support children and young people, we can make a real difference in their lives and help create a better future.
